1st Annual Mid-Winter Imbolc Dance on Saturday, February 2nd
Fundraiser for Circles of Empowerment seeking Sponsors and Donors

Circles of Empowerment (COE) announces its first annual Mid-Winter Imbolc Dance on Saturday, February 2nd at 7pm. The dance is to be held at the SLO Guild Hall at 2880 Broad Street, and tickets can be purchased in advance.

Special features include music by the popular local band, Zen Mountain Poets, and an extensive raffle with prizes from local supporters such fine artworks, locally crafted jewelry, gift certificates for healing sessions from a variety of practitioners, gift certificates from Vons and other retailers, plus much more. A complete list of sponsors will be available in the next weeks.

COE is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization seeking additional donations of raffle items, decorations, and/or food for the event. Featured sponsorship slots are reserved for those who donate a minimum of $100 and will include signage featuring their logo at the event, along with two free entry passes. All supporters will be included in our promotional materials, with sponsors enjoying a featured presence. Imbolc or Imbolg, also called Brigid’s Day, is a Gaelic traditional festival celebrating the beginning of spring. Brigid brings hope and gently nurtures the just stirring earth. COE is a non-profit organization that also brings hope and encouragement to its members and extended community.

Many who come to COE have felt the hardships of financial strife, domestic violence, or severe emotional distress. COE offers the extended Central Coast community a safe and harmonious place to find spiritual counsel, empowerment, enlightenment, and a variety of teachings. COE invites your participation so that they may better serve those who benefit from this organization throughout the year.

Future plans for COE include the acquisition of land that will be used for ceremony, teachings, enrichment, community gatherings and interfaith circles. This property will incorporate indigenous land management techniques, permaculture, alternative power, and other advanced technologies. COE will proudly demonstrate and teach harmonious living techniques designed to foster balance with each other and the Earth Mother. All donations are fully tax deductible, with the value of donations to be determined by the donor.
