[nearly 1200 hits so far since May 23rd]

Crazy…or wise? The traditional wisdom of indigenous people often contradicts Western views about a mental health crisis. The documentary CRAZYWISE explores what we can learn from people around the world who have turned their psychological crisis into a positive transformative experience.

Because this film is so important I have taken it upon myself to travel to four different counties to screen the film, San Luis Obispo county, Sonoma County, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. See below for the dates, time, trailer, flyer, bios of speakers after the film, etc.
Suggested donation: $10-$20 but no one will be refused…

Bob Banner’s Letter to HopeDance film venue owners:

We have acquired permission to screen CRAZYWISE and would love your support… support in the sense of talking about it, sharing the trailer, possibly speaking at the event as a team of how our community is being affected by such crazywise behavior… or creating your own private screening…

Here is the normal 2.4 minute trailer’s link:

My passion is to educate folks with cutting edge ideas and practices that can best be exchanged via documentary film. So many things are changing and the film media has been growing and growing in terms of being able to stimulate change, giving us directions as to where to go next.. and having conversations after films (that I have screened in nearly 20 years on the central coast and in other counties as well) is so important to gather community, to engage, to articulate peoples concerns whether its about the food we eat how its produced and grown (and wasted) and shipped… to sustainable solutions to climate change to the new spiritualities to entheogens to shamanism to channeling to animals to diets…

We have a few venues who have committed. We will post (above) the dates and times and places as soon as we receive them.
First one will be April 15th, 7:30pm at Wilwand Teas in Atascadero with a local sangoma, Freddie and Brooke West who has quite an extensive training in Spiritual Emergency. Their bios are at the specific event listings…
