This hefty 270-page book is their story of how they moved away from the corporate cubicles, bought land in Wisconsin, created a B&B to support them, and started a farm as well as a community. It has resources, stories about solar energy, designing a hot water system, creating a business with organic cut flowers, bringing the veggies to farmers markets, wind turbines, encouraging entrepreneurship in sustainable agriculture, figuring out how to find and keep interns, planting seeds. Anything you can think of about rural life and farmsteading, they have written about it.
